CARF Accredited Senior Living Options at RiverWoods Exeter

RiverWoods Exeter was one of the youngest communities to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the nation’s only accrediting body for these types of communities. Achieving CARF accreditation means an organization has undergone a thorough external review and has met high standards for quality, accountability, and the overall experience of those it serves. There are more than 1,900 CCRCs around the country, but only 10% of them are accredited.

The Ridge

The Ridge invites you in with classic New England charm. You’ll find sun-filled spaces for conversation, relaxation, and enjoyment.

The Boulders

The Boulders was built using award-winning green design that welcomes you with all the timber-framed warmth of a mountain lodge.

I love being close to the ocean

And yet, still in the woods. One day a week, I like to walk along the shoreline in good weather. The next day, I can go for a hike in the woods.

Hans, RiverWoods Exeter

I have more freedom

to enjoy the things I’m passionate about - like painting, volunteering in the community, and travel - now that I don’t have to worry about yard work, cleaning, or even cooking dinner every night.

Pat, RiverWoods Exeter

I can continue my hobbies

like bee-keeping, which I now do on campus, and I have always enjoyed being in the outdoors and enjoying nature.
