The awards continue for RiverWoods Durham, as the Resident Sustainability Committee has been honored with the Standing Ovation Award from LeadingAge Maine & New Hampshire. This award recognizes their exceptional leadership in environmental advocacy, education, and action.

This award is a testament to the RiverWoods culture, where our residents don’t just live in our communities, they shape them. At RiverWoods Durham, a passionate group of residents came together to form a Sustainability Committee committed to making a difference.

We’ve shared their impact in a story highlighting the certification with SSAFE – Senior Stewards Acting for the Environment. The committee also partnered with the University of New Hampshire’s Sustainability Institute to promote the best practices and strengthen intergenerational efforts in environmental stewardship.
